Romantic Fall Backyard Wedding in Nashville | Aubrey & Kevin

Wedding

July 9, 2023

This chill and laid-back couple knew they wanted a romantic small fall backyard wedding gathered by their dearest family and friends! Every part of their day was intentional, purposeful, and filled with many meaningful moments. These Nashville intimate backyard wedding photos captured the love between Aubrey and Kevin. It was magical!

A friendship that blossomed into a beautiful love story

Audrey and Kevin’s story began in High School! Fortunately, Aubrey was late to class and had to take the last seat next to Kevin. They both innocently had crushes on each other, but due to different inner circles and friends, they didn’t have a chance to express their attraction to one another. It wasn’t until college that they found the courage to tell each other how they felt; the rest is history. It was a cute story!

How to make your fall wedding day yours

Aubrey and Kevin made sure to include meaningful moments from getting ready, having a private vow reading, small wedding ceremony to a cozy outdoor wedding dinner. They wanted the ultimate fall wedding on a budget. They put so much intention into every detail of their wedding day, from the fall wedding color palette to the property they decided to get married at – a beautiful family home in Nashville, Tennessee.

Family is everything!

This adorable pair made it a point to be with family, especially their grandparents, as much as possible! They emphasized capturing as many family pictures as possible for keepsakes. What’s more, the private family home had a beautiful courtyard for a starlight wedding dinner with loved ones. They also use the basketball court as a floor dance, a unique wedding idea I loved! Everyone was so at ease and was truly in the moment. One of the bridesmaids jumped in the pool by the night’s end, which was a lot of fun! They want to keep their wedding laidback and intimate but have their loved ones present, so a Nashville backyard wedding is the way to go!

Sweet words from the adorable couple

“Mary was the absolute best photographer we could have gone with! She was so sweet, had so much energy, blended right in with our guests, and overall delivered the most beautiful pictures of our wedding night. We really appreciated her more ‘editorial style’ photos – instead of focusing so much on posed moments (though she did a great job at those too), Mary captured the real people and emotion of the day. We couldn’t be more happy we went with her! We’ve gotten SO many compliments on our photos, too.”
